Personal Tax Returns

Dealing with Taxation is a crucial part for Canadians and can often be complicated. We strive at understanding the client’s situation, so as to minimize taxes and maximize benefits.

Canada levies personal income tax on the worldwide income of individuals resident in Canada and on certain types of Canadian-source income earned by non-resident individuals After the calendar year, Canadian residents file a T1 Tax and Benefit Return[4] for individuals.
It is due April 30, or June 15 for self-employed individuals and their spouses, or common-law partners. It so important to note, however, that any balance owing is due on or before April 30. Outstanding balances remitted after April 30 may be subject to interest charges, regardless of whether the taxpayer’s filing due date is April 30 or June 15.

We do taxation for Individuals – Employed, Self Employed, Students, New Immigrants and Seniors.

When should I file my taxes?
Personal taxes have to be filed for each calendar year. The filing typically starts from 3rd week of February till 30th April of the following year. However, the deadline for self-employed taxpayers is extended to 15th June of the following year.

Though there are deadlines to file the personal taxes, any time is a good time to file.
What happens if I am late on filing taxes?
You may end up paying penalties and interest if you have a tax payable, and your GST/HST or child benefits may be stopped or delayed if you miss the timelines.
